Cookie Policy
Updated Aug 1, 2026
ToolCraft uses no tracking cookies by default. Here is what is actually stored on your device, and why.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and local storage ToolCraft uses, and what is stored on your device when you use the site.
Cookies
ToolCraft does not set tracking cookies, advertising cookies or profiling cookies by default. We do not use cookie walls or cookie-banner consent gymnastics because there is nothing to consent to in the first place.
Browser local storage
- theme: remembers your light/dark preference.
- favorites: the list of tools you have saved as favorites.
- recentTools: tools you have used recently, so you can find them again.
- recentSearches: your last searches, for a faster next time.
All of these are stored locally in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device, they are not shared, and they can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Essential functionality
No essential cookies are required to use the site. Everything works without accepting anything.
Third-party services
If advertising networks or analytics are added in the future, they may set their own cookies. This policy will be updated to list each provider and describe how to opt out (including via your browser settings).
Managing storage
You can view and clear localStorage for any site from your browser settings (Site Data / Cookies). Clearing it will reset your theme, favorites and recent history but will not affect the tools themselves.
