ToolCraft started with a simple observation: most "free online tools" are neither free nor private in the way they claim. They show up in search, run one calculator, and spend the whole session collecting data or pushing sign-ups. We thought the category deserved better.
What ToolCraft is
ToolCraft is a collection of practical online tools and a blog of plain-language guides about them. Every calculator, converter and image tool runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type, upload or generate is sent to a server. There is no account, no data collection and no "sign up to see the result".
Our editorial standards
- Accuracy first: every guide is checked against the actual tool output and up-to-date sources before publication.
- No invented claims: we never fabricate statistics, testimonials or certifications.
- Disclosure: any affiliation or monetisation is clearly labelled — see our Affiliate Disclosure.
- Corrections: if an article needs fixing, we fix it and note the update date.
How the site is built
ToolCraft is deliberately lightweight: semantic HTML, a small amount of vanilla JavaScript and no heavyweight frameworks. That keeps every page fast, especially on mobile, and means the tools keep working even on modest connections.
Our team
ToolCraft is written and maintained by a small editorial and engineering team — the same people who build the tools and test them against the articles you read. Author profiles appear on every blog post and guide.
